Planting seeds today so tomorrow will be better.

Our goal is for everyone in our community to know the signs of human trafficking in order to avoid exploitation and risk of being trafficked. Be The Light is committed to planting seeds by bringing awareness to our families, our churches, and our communities. Our outreach initiatives target at-risk youth in impoverished areas, in the foster care system, and those in the juvenile justice detention centers. The ages of these youth range from 10 to 17 years old. Currently Be The Light serves in the Clear Lake and Galveston Texas areas.

We have found that in order to eradicate human trafficking, we have to start at the root of the problem. Let’s face it, we are living in a broken society. We want to make an impact in people’s lives by showing them how they can make positive changes in their life. It starts between the head and the heart. We want to stop the impoverished generational cycle of life which creates hopelessness for the at-risk population. By walking alongside our youth and their families and supporting our sister ministries, we feel together we can make a collective impact towards change.
